How does rent payment work?
The rent is paid in advance, on the 01st of each month.
Can I pay my rent on a later date than the first?
No, the rent must be paid by the first.
Moving in
Can I move in earlier than agreed?
We adhere to the move-in date according to the contract and move-in date. Contact the homeowner to find out if an earlier move-in date is possible.
Can I move in without paying a deposit?
No, the first rent and deposit must be paid before you are given a key to the property.
General
Do I need home contents insurance?
According to the contract, the tenant is obliged to take out contents and movables insurance for the entire rental period. It is important that this has liability coverage.
Fire safety, what are the tenant's obligations?
The tenant is responsible for paying attention to fire safety in the property. The tenant must be familiar with escape routes, including fire lines, ropes and ladders. The landlord will provide information about escape routes when the keys are handed over, but if the tenant is unsure, they should ask the landlord.
The tenant must not leave electrical appliances charging at night or unattended. They should also maintain fire extinguishers once a year and check that they are at the green level. It is also important to always check that the fire alarm or fire control panel is working properly, with no error messages on the display.

What do I do if there are faults in the apartment?
If a fault has occurred in the property, you should first check whether the fault has already been answered under questions and answers or in practical information on the website. If not, you should contact the landlord or caretaker for help. Mail primary, tel/text secondary
The drain is blocked, what should I do?
If the drain is clogged, try opening the water trap and cleaning it of dirt and hair. Instructions and videos for this can be found on YouTube. If you are unable to do this, contact your caretaker. The drain should be cleaned once every three months to avoid water damage.
The sink is clogged, what should I do?
If the sink is clogged, it is the tenant's responsibility to maintain it. Instructions and videos for water trap maintenance can be found on Youtube. The caretaker can be contacted for assistance or to check that the maintenance was carried out correctly.
What do I do if I lose my key or lock myself out?
Contact the landlord to order a new key. A fee for a new key is charged to the tenant.
The fridge is leaking and even though we wipe up the water at the bottom of the fridge, it fills up with water the next day. What do I do?
This means that the drainage hole on the wall is blocked, allowing water to flow past and down. Clean this point at the back of the fridge and the water should drain away.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are generally not allowed in the apartment unless otherwise specified in the rental contract.
What should I do if mould appears in my apartment?
Contact the homeowner immediately and inform. Continue to maintain a good airing routine and keep even ventilation in the home.
